Story Software was developed from Geoff Davis’s Masters research into interface design and non-linear narrative (2003, Middlesex University Lansdown Centre, England).

Story Lite is a freeware and more featured low cost commercial product for writers and researchers.
It is also used a lot for organising and as a whiteboard. It is a general purpose application and has been used for all sorts of things.

Story Turbo is the new version with images. This is more of a multimedia application and uses the same zooming portable desktop concept.

Background: Geoff Davis has worked as a Web Manager at NESTA, the UK innovation trust, and was the Technical Director at an Omnicom design company in London. He also taught computer graphics at several top UK universities including London University of the Arts and Sheffield Hallam University.

PEN New Fiction – Geoff was in the new writers’ anthology from PEN International.

Various other works published, inc. a novel Nnn Goes Mobile which had an Arts Council UK Hub multimedia game called PariseiNnn.
