WHO IS BEHIND THIS SITE and STORY SOFTWARE?
Hi, I am Geoff Davis, and I invented, designed and released Story Lite, productivity software for writers, bloggers, artists and creatives.
Version 2.0 will be out in the Autumn/Fall 2011.
I developed Story software from my Masters research degree in interface design. I had been writing fiction on and off for years, including novels and short stories, and multimedia pieces in collaboration with visual artists.
I wanted a simple but powerful multiple panel (box) editor, so designed this Story software which lets you create novel zooming interfaces and custom layouts.
For more details see Geoff Davis web and software work site >
Geoff’s Masters work on zoomable user interfaces (ZUIs) and non-linear narrative is online here soon.
Fiction
Visit Em Publishing who included the Bubble World novella in three issues >
Quartet and Juma who published my other fiction works, African Story and Nnn Goes Mobile, are not around now.
Music
Some of my music is on the Recotist music site > including some Satie pieces and a few other original songs.

We have people working on a .NET version, due late 2011/2012.
Writers
Azeema D. is our technology writer. Maria Z. penned many of the ‘How to Write…’ articles. Ivy N. did some copywriting.
Music
Tunes used as soundtrack on the videos are by Geoff Davis (all rights reserved). I have loads of these songs – one minute fits a video. Dan Buckley sings (through a vocoder) on the How to Write video. If you can tell what he is singing, send it in. We would like to know.
My musical claim to fame is that I wrote the title song on Ian Burden of the Human League‘s solo album Loot. I was in a few obscure bands like practically everyone else in England.
